Be prepared to iron almost all of your clothes What a nightmare I dont know why the clothes come out so wrinkled. Ive tried large loads small loads different cycles lower spin speeds nothing helps. Dont even think about washing gym clothes. they need complete ironing.. My only guess its the low water use. Because the device uses so little water your clothes come out a wrinkled mess. LGs app for the product has more ads then it does product features. LG needs a downloadable cycle that uses more water. Also for such a big wash drum if you put to much in it the vibration sensor VS error appears on the machine and it simply stops running-happens to me all the time when I wash towels. Finally 2+ thousand dollars for this system and LG gives you one 1 year of warranty.... insert crazed faced emoji here

It seems like a great appliance. Its beautiful for a stackable and Ive washed my queen comforters with success and love the size and speed of the gas of dryer. Im also able to use laundry soap sheets too. I just rip in small prices and put in dispenser. The sheets dissolve completely. I purchase this WashTower WKGX201HBA in Sept. I am still discovering all the features. I really like it so far. However I asked support for assistance to purchase the dryer rack for this model and was ghosted. I couldnt find it anywhere on LGs website whether it was out of stock or discontinued. I finally found one on a GRP website. It works great and received it very quickly. Overall the machine works well. My only issue is the lack of product knowledge customer service had and the lack of a return call from product services to my request. I hope this is not the norm. I will update my review in 6 months after learning all the features and more experience with support.

This single stacked laundry unit is awesome It fit is a small laundry room perfectly and looks great. It performs very well and is very quiet which is a huge plus as the unit is right next to our kitchen . Controls are very straight forward and we love the fact the drier knows what we washed and automatically selects the proper setting super convenient.

Modern machine does it all

Weve had the machine for two weeks. First front load and first stackable weve owned. Since we modify almost all default settings it has taken some getting used to we like cold water wash and light heating dry but it gets the job done in less time and better than our old top load set by another maker. Very quiet no agitator which tore things and always got unbalanced on the old machine so no babysitting needed. Drys better when sort by size and fabric like the manual says but sometimes needs a second timed dry pass. Fits well physically in our older house. Energy efficient also. Well made built to last. Wish the drum lights were automatic for loading and unloading but overall great - very pleased. First LG appliance also.

Clothes come out smelling clean

Purchased the washer tower to replace a stacked washer and dryer. Couldnt be happier. Clothing comes out actually smelling clean For my 54 frame having the controls in the middle of the two machines is perfect I also love that the LG app expands the features for both the washer and dryer. The only downside is my old washer had a feature that would keep the clothes fresh after the cycle had finished. This washing machine only allows you to select the fresh care in the app not on the machine itself which is very inconvenient.

Needed to stack units to fit into the narrow laundry closet. I considered stacking a dryer unit on top of a separate washer unit. After extensive research I discovered this model from LG. Weve had this for almost 1 1/2 yrs. now and love almost everything about it: Pros = LG app notifies when the wash or dry cycle is complete as well as giving a reminder when to run the tub cleaning cycle and washing the lint filter never knew we had to do that. My wife is petite so for her having the control panels consolidated in the middle as opposed to split between the top and middle closed the deal for us. Our old one was over 10 yrs old before it started having control panel issues not an LG brand so we were blown away at how little water the LG uses for the same load. It cleans well with so little it was shocking The one con weve noticed is that even with the setting set to Max Dry the clothes do not always come out completely dry. We often wind up having to run a gentle shorter manual cycle to dry it completely ours runs on gas. In spite of this we would get it again. Overall we are happy enough with it that we have slowly started to replace our other appliances with something from the LG brand family.

What a waste of money

We had our unit for about 3 months. It started linking from the bottom of the unit. I watched their videos to see if I could fix it myself. Nope I couldnt so I contacted LG Electronics and it took them 3 weeks to get someone out to look at my unit. I was told it will take past the New Year to get my part in and about a week after that for them to replace my part. Now the unit will set for months not working because I am not going to ruin my new floors.

This combo comes with plenty of options for washing and drying items. Unfortunately our unit arrived with an option that doesnt work...the Normal setting on the dryer. The repair centers in our area refuse to fix the unit so we try to use other settings. The unit is quiet but Im surprised at how long some of the setting are for washing clothes. In some cases the time duration is over 2 hours just to wash clothes. The most impressive feature is the look of the unit. It is a beautiful appliance.

Loving my LG tower

After doing some research I chose the LG tower to replace a 25 yr old Frigidaire frontload stack. The LG has the features I want fits in the same space with no alterations needed and is a top-rated brand for reliability. Also its gorgeous Favorite features: easy to reach controls in middle as opposed to top of stack drum lights prewash extra rinse steam functions Only minor complaint- the dryer door gasket picks up a bit of lint each load but it wipes off easily with a damp cloth.

Space Saver same Functionality

Very pleased so far with the purchase. I needed to save space while maintaining the functionality. The Washtower has fit the bill with great capacity in half the space. And it saves water On a low producing well and have had no issues doing multiple loads of laundry. And its quiet as can be. The only hiccup was getting converted to LP gas from natural gas. Took a time to get someone out to make that change so dryer sat for a couple weeks. There should be an option to have this done prior to delivery regardless of where purchased.

We have had the wash tower for about a month. it seemed to boast a lot of features but doesnt come through. our prior .May tag had more options including seemingly more sensors. I find the Normal cycle for the dryer blows cold air and have resorted to using timed dry. Cant gauge how the washer is doing though reeked of a metallic smell for quite a while. Id say love the dimensions just not the most user friendly or efficient appliance.

Overall very good just issues with dryer

My husband and I bought this unit about 5 months ago and have been really happy with the cleaning results. We are having some issues with the dryer - we keep getting the d80 error code which signifies that the vent/ducting is clogged at 80. We have had an air vent cleaning company come by 3 times to clean out our vents this could just be an issue with our building vents but it is a little frustrating at times since the dryer stops when it gets the error code. Thankfully even when it stops early with the error code our clothes are usually already dry. Again this may not be an issue with the appliance itself and may be a building venting issue but we werent having this problem with our previous dryer. Otherwise we are very happy. The appliance is sleek not loud and fit nicely into our small space.

I bought this one month ago and from day 1 had code issues with the dryer. Second load in dryer and started with d80. Within 2 weeks the code progressed to d90. Exchanged out the LG Washtower with the same model second machine. Well no more codes just a continuous leak coming from underneath the machine. Had damaged my floor. LG sent a third party to check out the machine and deemed it unrepairable. In limbo phase waiting for pick up. Would not recommend

I live in a small condo that had a stackable washer and dryer but it was the older white one piece unit. It worked just fine but you could only wash two or three towels at a time and there was no way that the washer could hold blankets let alone a comforter. My neighbor had a different brand stackable set so I thought I would try the new LG Slim Q brand. What a difference. The product is quieter than my old machine it uses less water and detergent as opposed to my old unit. On top of that the inside of the washer is humongous Im still wondering how that created full sized capacity for small spaces. All of my neighbors have stopped by to see my new equipment so maybe they will purchase the Slim Q too.

I bought the set more than 2 years ago and. Hold my be happier. I especially love the steam feature which works like wonder when I use at home dry clean kits. The staked units also save a lot of space. It is gentle on my gas bill too. I hardly notice any difference in the bill when I do laundry three times a day.

I bought these about a month ago. I had trouble at first the washing machine on the spin cycle was vibrating so violently it was moving the machine out of its original spot. I thought it had a defect or something in the drum and wasnt set correctly...come to find out there are shipping bolts in the back of the machine. Remove those Works brilliantly now super quiet especially if you have a laundry room with a door. If not they are still pretty dang quiet. Dryer is quieter than the washer in my opinion but both are super quick and gets laundry done faster than any past machines Ive had. Super cool features as well like when you use too much detergent itll run a cycle that gets rid of all the extra suds that can hurt your machine.

Hard working easy to use and just darn sexy

I have had my LG Washtower for 3 weeks and I am in love. I researched all the options when I needed to replace my much loved LG stackables that were 16 years old. I could not find any reason not to buy the Washtower as every review I read or watched raved about it. I was worried about the all in one unit as opposed to 2 separate stackable units in case one were to break and an appliance retailer posted that even though they may look the same later on the stackable option with the mounting plates is almost never compatible. Given that my old LGs had lasted 16 years I was pretty confident that the Washtower would be for us. And wow it is AMAZING. A little smaller in stature making it easier to load and unload the dryer. All the bells and whistles and it is intuitive. I really love that the dryer recognizes which wash cycle was used and then just runs the appropriate dryer cycle. The app is super helpful as well with notifications on when the loads have finished laundry tips and a countdown and reminder to run the cleaning feature on the washer every 30 loads. And best of all this baby is just darn sexy Everybody comments on how pretty it is and I have to agree.

Ive had my machine for a little over a year now and have tried trouble shooting before leaving any reviews in case of user error but I keep noticing the same things. The dryer portion does not dry thoroughly if youre doing more than one load of laundry per day without changing the settingsbedding setting works best Ive found. The washer portion worked fine for a few months then stopped draining entirely leaving clothes sopping wet. Had a tech come from where we bought it and he said there was nothing wrong with the machine. I have to empty the front drain of water after every load so that it would drain properly. When the wash first starts half of the soap is wasted right into the door gaskets because the jets trickle down the glass regardless of how full or empty the drum is. Ive found work around but would not recommend this machine to anyone looking. Tldr decent machine if you dont mind DIY workarounds to get the best use out of it. Slim and attractive design.
