Hard to see controls 12/3/2023

We like it a lot quiet and good looking. We really wished it had a back lighted panel. It is difficult to see controls even in the daytime in the evening forget about it. Some complained about having to turn off the microwave after use or it continues to beep but it is not a big issue with us.

At this time it is not working for the 3rd or 4th time. Stuckwisch Appliances was here to service it last week only to be told by tech support it needed more parts ordered again. We have been without oven and or microwave more than we actually have gotten to use. Stuckwischs did give us a microwave to keep here so we at least have a microwave to use. Every holiday since we got this it has not worked. We are fed up and want this replaced with a different one. Stuckwischs have asked for an RA to return and get this replaced for us. Very dissatisfied that something that cost so much money has so many problems with it and is not usable.

dont you dare clean it ever

My appliance was never fixed. The tech showed up looked it over ordered a pair of new fuses. The fuses showed up two days later but I never saw the tech again. He had gone on vacation and wouldnt answer his phone. This was two days before Thanksgiving I hired a tech from ABW which cost me $155.but he slapped the fuses in and buttoned it up. Someone named Nikita from LG Customer Support kept swearing she was going to get someone out to complete but that never happened. I posted a picture of the oven in the wall and she called right back only to tell me she couldnt have gotten anyone there until 11/29. I asked her about the $155 and she said shell get back to me. Im not holding my breath. I am a high-end kitchen remodeler in Washington DC artdesignbuild.com We remodel about 25 kitchens a year. I got stuck with this oven during the pandemic. Guess which appliance company we will NEVER recommend?

Microwave broke after 4.5 years of light use

we bought this and had it installed summer of 2019. We bought the matching blue range oven as eell so we would have a set. But recently the microwave just stopped. it would spin and make you think its business as usual but there would be no heat. Then the turn table would make aweful noise the next time we tried it a week later. We are afraid we will have to return the entire unit because repairing appliances seems to be a thing of the past. Prior to this we loved it... because it worked without question.

I love this beautiful combo oven but after several months of ownership I used the self clean function and this killed the power to the oven requiring repair with new parts. I was informed by a repair person that all new ovens do this during the cleaning process. LG this must be overcome

We had originally purchased another make but before delivery we had some doubts and I am glad we did. The Combo Microwave and Convestion Oven is beautiful and quiet. We are still learning to master the operations but it will all come. Our only wish would have been for a lighted display we have a light over the unit but it sure would have been great to have the control panel lighted.

Not great oven. The buttons on the oven are confusing. Timer cannot be set in seconds only minutes. Auto cooling feature of the microwave starts the fan even if you use the microwave foe 2 seconds. The fan runs for 1-2 minutes consuming power unnecessarily. Called LG support and they were not sure of hiw the auto cooling feature works. They sent a tech home and he said that is std and the fan will start everytime. Overall not a great product.

This is our first LG purchase based on out current experiences it wont be the last. The combo arrived wrapped tightly and carefully so nothing was scratched or marred. The opening for the combo needed to be slightly enlarged as the previous combo was smaller. Hooking it up to the electricity was easily done. The manual is clearly written we excitedly tried the oven. Perfect. When we tried the microwave there was an issue with the door not shutting so operation could begin. We called LG and a kind and helpful lady set up an appointment with a service man. A week passed before he could come but he resolved the issue quickly. So far the micro is working well. He also was kind and helpful in fact he made sure he would come out again should we have this issue or any other. We love the finish of the unit. It is sleek and modern and is a nice complement to our other stainless appliances.

Never buy from LG. They do not stand behind

Oven installed in March 2023. Unable to use oven. Major damage done to the cavity of the oven due to fan failure. Electric shorted out smell of electrical melt down filled my kitchen. LG refuses to swap out oven for a new. LG wants to repair. If I dont agree to have them fix it they wont do anything to make the oven safe.

Customer Service is Horrible

The product is fine the customer service team is horrible. I had two interactions with the CS team regarding a warranty issue and neither one was good. Simply put I let the agent know that I will never ever own another LG appliance as long as I have anything to say about it. In fact we recently purchased a new TV and when the option came down to which brand LG was not even a consideration. The biggest drawback of the microwave itself is that the lettering is so dark it is impossible to see the controls for it or the oven without turning on a light in the kitchen. Lighter text or backlighting would be nice.

We purchased this product a few months before the Kitchen remodel was finished. It was the crowning Jewel. We love the unit. It has a great variety of capabilities. We learn more with each new cooking experience.

The oven failed to heat properly time and time again. Based on conversation with LG rep its subject to recall. It has no backlight making it difficult to read. The repair contractor they sent said he was not strong enough to install lower element but would get help then his boss said nope we cant do that. Good luck with their customer service staff.

Not very happy

Its been a month I have been using the oven and I am not very with the features. The oven cooling starts eveytime I use the microwave even if it is for 5 seconds. Some of the buttons to use the microwave timer etc are confusing and not user friendly. The timer has a min of 1 min setting. I cannot use it for lesa than that.

Technicians were hard working and did whatever they could do based on their understanding of the issue but problem was not solved. The product itself might be defective and beyond their capacity to repair it.

Microwave Rattles

I like the oven however the microwave rattles after 5 minutes of cooking. Ive had the repair guys out 3 times and no one can figure it out. NOT HAPPY about it

VERY LOUD FANS

I bought two of these and they have a very loud fan that is on during cooking. Imagine how loud it is when I am using all four ovens. Then after I remove my food the fans are still in effect while we are trying to eat. It is loud and quite annoying. That shouldve been conveyed to us before purchasing. I would never purchase again. One fan is loud enough to be disturbing

Zero customer service

I ordered a set of appliances from LG to include an oven/microwave combo once installed we tried the microwave and it makes a loud rattling noise. I called customer service and got zero assistance. Hung up on twice tried the chat every time the person I was chatting with would close the chat.

disaster from the beginning / item did not work when installed / had two different electric companies check the installation / all was fine the item was defective and did not work / no satisfaction from LG or its representative / retail store replaced LG PRODUCT with another brand that is working great / process took about two months or more / sales lady went above and beyond to make sure my wife and i were satisfied / has all my future business / not LG

Hasnt worked since we received it

We bought this in February and it was a dud. It has never worked. LG has had a technician come out 4 times only to say each time the wrong part was sent and they will have to come back. LG should just replace the unit because it is now almost June being unable to be used.

computer parts broke after less than a year

Not happy that the oven computer parts failed after less than a year. The cost of repair is significant and warranty only covers x amount to repair. Not sure Id buy again.

We thought that the microwave was just that a microwave. Oh...Its much more Its like having two ovens in one unit. The upper features are nearly as good as the lower and a microwave to boot. The settings are straight forward and easy to understand and both the upper and lower units work flawlessly.

We were happy to finally get our combo unit that we purchased from Lowes. The right hand doesnt know what they were doing.. Also issues with install people. Complaint is also on control putting. It would be nice that at least the back ground was lite up. Hard to see other wise. Have to turn kitchen lights all on to see. Also when we cook in microwave. It sounds like the motor is grinding. Never had a microwave sound so loud.

Perfect in my new kitchen.

We remodeled our kitchen a couple of months ago and Im so glad that we decided on this oven Its easy to use and does everything. Previously I had a slide-in range and was constantly fighting the gap between the counter and stove. This is much easier and looks great. The microwave is large and has several automatic settings. I love the convection oven for crisping potatoes and bread. I was a little confused about the timer at first but I figured out that you can set it to time in hours and minutes or minutes and seconds. Its a great feature when you figure it out read the manual. I would certainly recommend this unit.

Excellent Purchase So Far

Weve been using this wall oven for about six months and havent come across one issue to complain about. We moved from our previous house that had a similar style wall oven KitchenAid and this unit is by far much easier to use and our dishes are more evenly cooked. Also this LG units notification sounds are pleasant and the control panel is much more intuitive than our last wall oven. We purchased the extended warranty directly from LG which was a better deal than the one offered by Lowes. I hope we never need to use it.

Ive only had it a couple weeks but have used several of the different modalities. The microwave does NOT continue to chime and stops as soon as the door is opened. The lower oven preheats much quicker than my old oven and the convection oven really seems to cut the baking time. I guess the only negative I can think of is the cooling fan after both the upper and lower ovens are used is a bit noisy but not a significant issue for me.

Magnificent Product - very happy with it.

We are coming up on 4 weeks since installation date. Delivery and installation went well. The Combo looks good and has had no issues. That 1 missing star is for a suggestion I would make. The Combo has a lot of features and capabilities. It feels like we bought a Grand Piano and are playing chop sticks on it. Would love to see an accompanying video or one existing on YouTube that helped us to explore and use more of its functions. A cookbook that was tied to the oven that had recipes with instructions of how to best use the features available. It is a great product. We just need some lessons or directions to play it with gusto
