This is my second review of this product and honestly LG in general. If you own this refrigerator I am sorry. I would not buy this or another LG product ever again. Now I know a lot of people say this but dang it. I am done. I bought this set thinking wow it will be great. The first time we had an issue was Jan of 2019. It was a year old. Under warranty. Now the fridge under 5 years. still under warranty why you ask a large lawsuit on faulty products LG REFRIGERATOR CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT BENTLEY ET AL. V. LG ELECTRONICS U.S.A. INC. Case No. 19-CV-13554 D.N.J. The fridge stopped working 11/24. Contacted LG for the warranty claim the customer service people said Wednesday 11/29 1300-1700. They called at 1057 stating they were 30 mins out. They then closed the service ticket because no one was home. My husband got out of work at 1230 and attempted to call to no answer. I called customer service to ask about the repair person. They said they would call me. NO call. I called the number from my phone. The guy Alex said nope you werent home the ticket is closed and I am not coming. So I called customer service to be told well you will get a call in 24-48 hrs for a new repair person. I have no refrigerator since the day after thanksgiving. So do you know how much food and stuff I have lost. I am done. I will not purchase LG anything. I will tell everyone I know not to purchase LG.

I bought this a year ago and love it I had a side by side prior to this and I will never go back. Great space easy access to all foods. The drawers are large enough to hold most of my produce. The large rectangle drawer I use for low profile items which could get easily lost in a refrigerator. Love the insta view for frequently used items like milk juice eggs. The freezer is easy access as well would buy again in a minute.

Worked great for a little over 2 years then the freezer ice maker stopped working. Had to use the Home Depot extended warranty to get it repaired. Now the Sunday before Thanksgiving it stopped cooling. I am told its covered under the LG warranty but it will be over a week with no refrigerator by the time the can service it.

This refrigerator didnt make it 2 years before the fan warped and stopped working. It took me forever to find someone that would even work on an LG fridge. I luckily took out an extended warranty. So I was able to get a number from them for service. It ended up being over $ 500.00 to get fixed. My warranty company repaid me promptly at least.

Buying the Extended Warranty

Bought refrig. nearly a year ago. After about 6 months I started to hear a whirring noise which got progressively louder over several weeks. After calling LG Customer Service I was referred to recordings of noises downloaded from a text. This was to accurately identify the cause of the noise. Once identified we were told to manually defrost the refrigerator which we did and the noise stopped. Manually defrosting was a pain - had to buy ice to store the freezer contents etc. while it defrosted for 24 hours. Not sure what we can do to prevent this from happening again but the warranty is expiring soon so we will buy an extended warranty. Otherwise we like the refrigerator very much. We are two people and it has plenty of capacity for us - even when we entertain.

The compressor in my refrigerator went out it took two time for the technician to fix it also I had make few phone call to customers service to place a claim in regarding of all the food that was damage and went to the garbage because the malfunction on this expense refrigerator. Still I have not heard on my my claim ? Customer service told me it will take a week for my claim is been a month and still no resolution. What kind of review I should write? Very bad service.

I had purchased a lg refrigerator about 5 years ago and low and behold the compressor went out. I called lg and got no reasonable response I could not hardly understand the representative her English was very poor and had to ask her to repeat almost everything she said. I just stopped talking and hung up the phone. I called an appliance repair co. And paid to have it fixed. To be honest I will not ever purchase another LG appliance again.

When the product works it is great. Has great features like and Ice bucket in the freezer and water and ice dispenser in the fridge that can deliver the ice crushed or in cubes. But the condenser filters and fans are too small and get clogged easily.

I purchased my LG refrigerator approximately 2 1/2 years ago. It provided everything I expected in cooling freezing water and ice production. However at 2 1/2 years the compressor failed and although it was under warranty it took seven days for someone to replace the compressor. Once the technician arrived he had it almost immediately diagnosed and within an hour had completed the repair. The ordeal of contacting LG was less than desirable...was told someone would contact me within 24 hours--didnt happen. Return call resulted in them saying they had no record of my previous phone call. The strong accent of those answering LG telephone calls made it difficult to understand. Going without a refrigerator for seven days was a huge inconvenience and we were fortunate we didnt lose more groceries. Having to purchase an ice chest and buy ice was not only an unfortunate situation but it was also a costly and time-consuming incident. I rate the refrigerator mostly as good the eventual repair very good but the customer service and wait time as unsatisfactory.

My LG French door refrigerator is really very nice roomy and convenient. I keep all of my frequently used items such as condiments cheeses milk etc. inside the instaview door-in-door for quick access. I do have some problems with the freezer baskets because I frequently have issues trying to locate items that I think that I have. They are deep and spacious but not easily organized I have the additional ice maker in the freezer compartment and that is nice because it has a switch to turn it off when my ice use is low. I can use the ice bucket for smaller packages of items like frozen vegetables.

The bottom ice maker worked sporadically for several months after purchase before quitting all together. Parts fail it happens what is unacceptable is horrible customer service After hours spent on the phone with offshore LG repair we finally got a repair dispatch approved only to have it assigned to a repair shop in Eastern Montana We live in Eagle Idaho. Lloyds Appliance Repair in Glasgow Montana was inflexible in scheduling tech only serves West Idaho 2x a week and the technician lacked training in basic customer service skills he was completely unresponsive and unprofessional. Six weeks later our issue is unresolved and we have to start the repair process over again. I cant wait for more time with that call center Nearly everything in our home is LG but this first repair experience with LG has me rethinking that Unacceptable and disappointing

When we were shopping for a refrigerator I didnt want to pay that much but my daughter who had recently purchased a LG Refrigerator insisted we buy this model. And we are so happy she did. It has been worth the price. We love the convenience of the side door opening to get a drink and the extra ice bucket. The crispers keep produce much fresher than our old refrigerator. This model and it being an LG will not disappoint you.

It is the perfect size for a small fridge with freezer for my laundry room just for extra things that wont fit in the big fridge/freezer like extra ice cream butter OJ etc. It is not a real big fridge it is just an extra. The only reason I did 4 stars instead of 5 is because the drawers are awkward to open I have a hard time finding where to grab but I will get used to it.

Not very happy with this fridge after 2 yrs top shelf items freeze in fridge. Ice maker stopped working and now the water from dispenser releases large amounts of water out when it wants. The first time we wasnt home it flooded the kitchen floor and went downstairs and ruined ceiling in laundry room Ive been waiting for service to get back to me now for a couple weeks to repair.

I bought this fridge in 2019. Its compressor went out in 2023. Luckily there was a 10 year warranty on the compressor. They came out and fixed it. Sending group technicians with a good customer.
